from LexisNexis

The 2007 Best Practices for Federal Libraries (Size: 5.9 MB) collaborative document in now available in PDF. Best Practices is an annual collaborative effort, focused on a specific topic of interest to federal information professionals and spearheaded by LexisNexis to support the efforts of the US federal librarian community. This year, the topic was professional development. The materials have been submitted by federal librarians, and those working with the federal library community, and have been edited and compiled by Marie Kaddell, LexisNexis Information Professional Consultant. Best Practices provides back information to the federal library community from federal librarians themselves, so that the best ideas and successes in federal libraries, and those associated with them, can be shared across federal libraries and beyond.
