CLA Conference 2009 Update

Over the past few weeks some new information about travel and accommodations have been added to the CLA 2009 Conference website.

Travel
VIA Rail Canada is pleased to offer preferred rates for the Canadian Library National Conference and Tradeshow in Montreal next year.

Valid:
May 25th to June 4th, 2009

Restrictions:
No stopovers allowed, maximum of 2 passengers per booking to receive the discount

Discount:
10% off best available fare in Comfort Class / VIA1 or Sleeper Class

Identification:
Participants must reference VIA Confirmation Number 11482 when booking

Online Booking Tips:
Create a profile (if you do not have one). On passenger information screen, select Convention Rate from the Discount Type Box and enter the code above. The rate will appear on the next page.

Accommodations
Two conference hotels have been listed with their rates:

Delta Centre-ville (official conference hotel)

• Delta Room: $189.00
• Premier Room: $229.00
• Signature Club Room: $229.00

XIXe Siecle Hotel

• CLA has a small block of rooms at this facility. The single/double rate is $160.
  
• To receive the conference rate, all reservations must be made by April 15, 2009.
