Canadian Library Month Dinner 2009: An Appetite for Information and Gourmet Cooking

Join the Canadian Library Association in celebrating Canadian Library Month in style at the Santé Restaurant in Ottawa (45 Rideau Street, 2nd Floor) on Monday, October 19. The speaker at this sumptuous event is Jenna Hartel, who will share her appetite for Information in the Hobby of Gourmet Cooking. Jenna Hartel is an assistant professor at University of Toronto's Faculty of Information. She will be serving up asian inspired menu with something for everyone.

Vietnamese Spring Rolls
(shrimp, cucumber, noodles, bean sprouts and fresh herbs in rice paper served with hot and sour sauce)

Artichoke Salad
(tomato, avocado and lemon garlic dressing)

(thin slices of beef stir-fried with green, red peppers and red onions in lemon grass and cherry brandy sauce)

Organic Tofu, Cashew and Vegetable Stir Fry
(vegetarian mushroom sauce, broccoli, rice)

Traditional Thai Curry
(free range chicken or fresh prawns, thai yellow curry, asian vegetables, rice)
