CASLIS Mentoring Program Applications Now Available Online

The Canadian Association of Special Libraries and Information Services (CASLIS) is now accepting applications for the new mentoring program. Visit the CASLIS Mentoring Program web page for information about the program and to complete an online application form.

The Mentoring program will pair mentors or trusted advisors with new librarians or library technicians with the goal of providing professional development, growth, and support.

The flexibility of the program will also accommodate individuals who may not be recent graduates, but who are seeking guidance in specific areas such as resume reviewing and interview skill building.

The program has been designed with the goal of assisting both new and seasoned librarians and library technicians in achieving their career goals. In addition, the mentoring program will develop trusting professional relationships among special librarians and technicians, foster individual and mutual professional interests and aspirations, and encourage intergenerational cooperation and healthy workplaces.

For additional information about the CASLIS Mentoring program, please send an email to caslismentoring@cla.ca.
