Are your daily decisions justifiable and based on real evidence?
Evidence-based practice (EBP) seeks to use the best available research evidence to inform everyday practices in information management.
This workshop introduces participants to:
- the process of applying EBP in your organization;
- the free and not-so-free resources available; and
- the steps you can follow to determine what the best evidence is.
Speakers:
Virginia Wilson is Coordinator of the Saskatchewan Health Information Resources Partnership.
Laura Newton Miller is a Science and Engineering Librarian at Carleton University.
