Guess the Giller contest at the Ottawa Public Library

Ottawa (October 18, 2007) -You can cast your vote for the contender you think will win the Scotiabank Giller Prize by participating in the Guess the Giller contest through the Ottawa Public Library until Monday, Nov. 5.

You could win a set of autographed shortlisted books and a chance to win the Grand Prize, an all-expenses paid trip for two to a Canadian literary festival of the winner’s choice, valued at $5,000.

The shortlist is made up of: Elizabeth Hay for Late Nights on Air, Michael Ondaatje for Divisadero, Daniel Poliquin for A Secret Between Us, M.G. Vassanji for The Assassin’s Song and Alissa York for Effigy.
